Things we Do Know about Machine Learning | Artificial Intelligence by Jatinder Bhola.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is an intelligence exhibited by machines, according to Wikipedia. Whenever we talk about AI, the first reference comes in our mind is ‘SKYNET’ from Terminator or my favorite ‘Ex Machina.’ However, most of the time we take A.I. as an enemy to the human race. But think about machine learning. A machine, able to recognize your drawing, clicked images in real time and tell you what it is. Recently we see many companies are taking an interest in this field and investing lots of money. Either we say, Siri, corona, Google assistant or Bixby – they are a step toward the future of AI.

Recently we see many companies are taking an interest in this field and investing lots of money. Either we say, Siri, corona, Google assistant or Bixby – they are a step toward the future of AI.

In this article, our primary focus is not on which is better than other. However, we will try to discuss and think about the future of AI and why do we need it.

Out of so many companies, Google seems like developing a cool technology based on machine learning. You can learn about it from here Read More.

Do you imagine a tool where you draw something freehand, and it will give a most accurate list of items you tried to draw? Believe me; it sounds magical. But it is true. With autodrawGoogle Experiments with A.I. you can do it. Behind the scene, it is real machine learning. It is adaptable. Scary!!? Don’t worry; it will not send a robot to ask you why did you draw. Try it.

Think about it if I ask you to draw a tree, a cloud, a house, and some few other objects free handle in 20-30 secs. What do you think how will it look like?… kind of mumble jumble, but with the help of auto draw you can draw quick and something artistic.

Now, let’s dig more into it. How about clicking a picture will tell you what is it. OH! You think it is not attractive. Hmm, I know!… But here is the fun part – Take a picture to make music with the computer/mobile. This experiment built with machine learning that lets you make music with the computer just by taking a picture. It uses image recognition to label what it sees; then it turns those names into lyrics of a song.
Brilliant minds behind this work are: Built by Eric Rosenbaum, Yotam Mann, and friends at Google Creative Lab using MaryTTS, Tone.js, and Google Cloud Vision API. Features music by Giorgio Moroder.
They call it Giorgio Cam.

If you check this link. You will find out many other interesting experiments. Which are fun as well as intuitive. The best part, for the developer, it can be integrated into real time application. Although there are few limitations tho, it is just beginning.

My personal favorite is ‘Things Translator.’ It helps to learn a new language and could be a lifesaver in a different country with different language. Must check it out at here,
Will catch you with the other exciting news about technology next week. Till then bye and happy learning 🙂
